This week, I was the one that was visiting the doctor. I was working out on Tuesday night and felt a pop in my right foot while doing some jumping lunges, followed by pain when putting weight on the ball of my foot on the big toe side.
I went to the doctor Wednesday morning. They did X-rays on my toe and sure enough, I have a fracture on a tiny bone right in the ball of my foot. I've actually had pain off and on in this same spot for 3.5 years after hurting it when my first daughter was a newborn, but never did anything about it, so it was probably a bit weak to begin with.
So, I get to wear this beaut for the next 4-6 weeks for a tiny little fracture in my foot. BOOOO. What a pain (literally)!
Onto the weekly meal plan!
Sunday: Balsamic Beer Pot Roast (we were going to have this last Saturday, but it got bumped to Sunday when my dad offered to take us out for my birthday!)
Monday: Lemon & Rosemary Sheet Pan Chicken (I used chicken thighs)
Tuesday: Paleo Sloppy Joes w/ pan-fried potatoes (I can't find my go-to recipe anymore so I'll have to type it up for you!)
Wednesday: Homemade pizza
Thursday: Asian Noodle Bowls (I use peanut butter... can't beat the taste in my opinion!)
Friday: Homemade Chicken Nuggets (same process, but we pan-fry ours in grape seed oil) w/ roasted Brussels sprouts
Saturday: Out with the family
