WHOLE 30 WEEKLY MEAL PLAN: JAN. 6

Hello, hello! Happy Friday! I'm still thrown off on my week since we had Monday off and I'm off today. I'm on my third short week in a row, so next week is going to be reaaaaal rough when I have to work 5 full days. 

WHOLE 30
At the last minute, I decided to do another round of Whole 30 this month. I had sort of been thinking about it in my head, but hadn't fully committed until a friend told me she was doing it too. Last Saturday, we had donuts for breakfast (a treat we get about once a month) and I made a huge lasagna, Caesar salad and garlic bread for dinner as my "last supper." I know that's probably not the most healthy way to go into a Whole 30, but I figured I'll clean it all out of my system over the next month. :) So for the next month, all of our weekly meal plans will be Whole 30 approved dinners. If you're considering doing the program yourself, hopefully this will give you an idea of what types of delicious meals you can make! I also joined a gym! This is the first time I've been a member somewhere since 2013. Now that I'm done having kids and done nursing, I'm ready to start being more active. I'm not trying to lose weight, but do want to tone up since I've lost some muscle over the past few years of being less active, and overall, just want to be strong and healthy.

Lastly, before I get to our weekly menu, if you haven't seen my social media posts, my sister and I are hosting weekly webinars this month all about eating real food, meal planning and how food impacts your fitness goals. Sunday: Burgers + Fries (Whole 30 style: no bun, no cheese. I love to top mine with mustard, tomatoes and avocado)
Monday: Stuffed Pepper Soup (Whole 30: no rice. I also used Italian Sausage instead of beef)
Tuesday: I was on the go, so I threw together lettuce cups with turkey, peppers and Trader Joe's Cilantro Dip, plus a hard boiled egg. Dinners don't need to be fancy! 
Wednesday: Sloppy Joes + Home Fries + Salad (Whole30: I piled the meat on top of my potatoes. Also, the website for this recipe is no longer up, but the entire recipe is listed on the pin!)
Thursday: Balsamic Chicken & Brussels Sprouts
Friday: Asian Noodle Bowls
Saturday: Pork Roast + Veggies
